FOUNDER
Rahab Yachat Kwaja is a Social Psychologist, an educator, and a Kennedy-Lugar Youth Exchange and Study (KL-YES) alum, driven by a strong passion for promoting well-being across the lifespan. With a background in teaching, cross-cultural exchange, and community engagement, she blends academic knowledge with practical action to address critical issues such as aging, caregiving, and resilience among vulnerable populations.
As Founder of Help the Aged Initiative, Rahab brings a compassionate, research- informed approach to her work, designing programs that combat elderly neglect, reduce social isolation, and empower caregivers. Her leadership reflects a commitment to dignity, inclusion, and community-driven impact, with a vision of building a future where older adults are valued, supported, and empowered.
Her vision for Help the Aged Initiative was born from a strong belief in humane values. The organization exists to foster a future of independence, dignity, and a brighter life for the elderly population, driven by the mission to combat isolation, poverty, and neglect while empowering caregivers and promoting well-being through community-based action.
